Wane Art Gallery presents a collection of modern African fine art created by Congolese artist Christian Sitili Wane. The artist found his inspiration in nature and daily urban life in Kinshasa, DRC. Christian’s work displays an expressionistic palette, figurative approach combined with a unique artistic abstractive expression. Wane Art collection includes varieties of portraits, landscapes, and still life artworks. His paintings capture a picturesques scenes of African nature and daily social scenes. The last couple years Christian settled in Urbana Il, USA where he continues working on his old series of painting. The same time, he is exploring some new areas like series of architectural paintings of charming Urbana University town.
